As Global Sales Director (m/f/d), you will assume global responsibility for the sales activities of Wastberg+ and play a key role in shaping the company's continued international growth. You will combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution, lead international sales teams, and drive the continuous development of markets, customer relationships, and sales channels. Working closely with executive management as well as the Product Management and Marketing teams, you will establish the foundation for profitable growth and further strengthen the company's global market position.
Your job:
Develop and lead the global sales strategy for Wastberg+, driving international growth across the retail, project business, key account, and volume business segments.
Identify and develop new markets, sales channels, and business opportunities, while successfully implementing targeted growth initiatives.
Manage international market development, build and maintain strategic customer relationships, and support local sales teams in customer acquisition and business development.
Lead, coach, and develop international sales teams, ensuring sustainable target achievement through KPI-driven performance management, forecasting, and budget control.
Analyze market and competitive trends to identify growth opportunities and derive strategic sales initiatives.
Work closely with executive management, Product Management, and Marketing, contributing valuable market insights to the ongoing development of products, portfolio strategy, and go-to-market activities.
Qualifications and skills:
Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Architecture, or a related field.
Several years of international sales experience in a premium design environment, ideally within the furniture, lighting, interior design, or related industries.
Proven track record in building and developing international sales organizations, as well as in project sales, key account management, and collaboration with distribution and retail partners.
Strong expertise in budgeting, sales controlling, forecasting, and managing revenue and profitability targets.
Entrepreneurial, strategically minded, and execution-oriented professional with a high level of initiative.
Excellent leadership, communication, and intercultural skills, with the ability to engage confidently with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
A genuine passion for design, architecture, and premium brands.
Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken; additional languages are an advantage.
