BIM Specialist (m/f/d)

Your Role

  • Creation of highly complex, nested and formula‑driven, advanced parametric Revit lighting families

  • Development of rule‑based product configurators using Dynamo and Python

  • Creation, maintenance and implementation of product type catalogs for Revit families

  • Export, optimization and post‑processing of .dwg, .3ds and .obj files from existing .rfa models

  • Confident reading, interpretation and implementation of technical drawings, assembly and installation manuals

  • Translating technical product features and functionalities into practical, planning‑oriented Revit families

  • Comprehensive project support in the Revit environment for lighting designers – from conceptual to detailed design phase

  • Creation of structured Revit training materials and video tutorials for internal users

  • Application of open BIM standards and preparation and execution of IFC exports in line with project‑specific customer requirements
    (including custom property sets and IFC parameter mapping)

  • Ongoing maintenance, updating and quality assurance of product libraries and BIM content on XAL.com and BIMobject.com

Your Qualifications

  • Completed technical education, a relevant degree, or a comparable professional background

  • Advanced understanding of BIM concepts and workflows

  • Excellent skills and proven experience with Revit Family Editor and Project environment

  • Confident handling of shared parameters, type catalogs, and optimization of Revit families regarding functionality and usability.

  • Detailed understanding of project phases, required levels of detail (LOD), and related technical documentation

  • Good knowledge of common CAD tools such as Rhinoceros and AutoCAD

  • Experience with projects in the lighting industry or within architectural / technical planning environments is an advantage

  • High level of adaptability, a structured working style, and enthusiasm for working in a dynamic environment with changing requirements

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)

This position is classified with a minimum gross monthly salary of € 3,500. Our employees stand out through their expertise, commitment and personality, and therefore we are happy to adjust the offer individually based on your qualifications and experience.
Home office options are available after the onboarding phase in accordance with our internal guidelines.
