We are looking for a reliable Technical Application Engineer (all genders) to join our international sales team in Dubai. In this junior position, you will be responsible to support our team in project inquires and specification by creating quotations and layout drawings.
Your job:
Support the sales team with project submissions and technical documentation
Design lighting solutions that achieve the required lighting levels and visual effects
Recommend suitable lighting solutions based on our product portfolio and project requirements
Prepare complete project submissions, including quotations, lighting calculations, layout drawings, and technical documentation
Create professional product presentations for designers and clients
Provide technical support and communicate effectively with designers, partners, and customers through meetings, presentations, and consultations
Build and maintain strong customer relationships while proactively supporting client needs throughout the project lifecycle
Qualifications and skills:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field
2–3 years of experience in the construction, electrical, or lighting industry is preferred
Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential; experience with DIALux evo and Relux is an advantage.
Familiarity with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics AX and Salesforce is a plus.
Skills in 3DS Max, Sketchup and Revit are an advantage
Experience preparing project submittal documentation.
Basic understanding of lighting control and ELV systems, including DALI, 0/1–10 V, phase-cut dimming, and Casambi, is advantageous.
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
Fluent in English
